Golden Inspiration: It’s Never Too Late to Go Back to School
By Justice For Our Parents
Los Angeles Elder Care Facilities

At 73, Dr. Lydia Meredith, earned her Ph.D.—proving that growth and reinvention don’t stop with age. Last December at Georgia State University, Dr. Meredith successfully defended her dissertation, “Religious Rhetoric and Rhetorical Theories of Human Engagement and Education: Mitigating Discriminatory Sentiment Against Sexual Minorities.”
Described by her dissertation director as a “motivated and impressive scholar, Dr. Meredith’s story is a reminder that aging can be a time of expansion, not limitation.
At Justice For Our Parents, we believe every stage of life deserves both opportunity and protection—because thriving should always be paired with dignity and respect.
Congratulations, Dr. Meredith!
